What is A.I. Art?
In this blog post, we will be looking at Artificial Intelligence and how to use it to generate your own A.I. art using the free version of Hotpot AI.
Hotpot AI uses artificial intelligence to produce various generated art forms.
Also known as an AI image generator, it is a form of AI that makes art from words (or text.) It is also commonly referred to as text-to-image generation.
This technology can be used to create works within a variety of subjects and disciplines including painting, drawing, poetry, song lyrics, and short stories.

The A.I. Art movement has been growing in recent years, with many artists and programmers working with the technology along with its popularity rising on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter.
Throughout this post, I have included some of the art that Hotpot generated for me simply by typing a unique description in the “What should AI Draw?” box.
I have found this to be a really awesome way to beat boredom and get my own creative energy flowing.
In my opinion, using artificial intelligence to harness one’s own inspiration, motivation and creativity is the most productive use of this technology.
Having different artistic tools at ones disposal can also be an especially effective method of coping with stress, anxiety and depression.
I’ve included a step-by-step guide below that will generate the same (but unique) art creations as viewed in this post.
My favorite style type is the Photo Realistic using the Unreal Engine sub-style. Here goes… ⏩⏩⏩!

Step by Step Hotpot.Ai Generated Art Tutorial:
- Step 1. Go to hotpot.ai/art-maker.
- Step 2. Type a description of what you would like the AI generator to create inside the text box that reads “What should AI draw?” (Alternatively, you can have Hotspot AI create a description for you using the link below the text box that says “Ask AI for Ideas”.) The AI generator will then create a description completely randomly. (Or…enter 5 or more words to create a more specific output.)
- Step 3. Select the Style you would like from the drop-down menu under “Style”. (See Different Styles below.)
- Step 4. Press the “Create Button” and wait a bit for the AI to do its magic!

What are the Different Art Styles?
There are several styles to choose from depending on which type of output that you would like the A.I. Generator to create.
At the time of this writing, these styles include:
- Hotpot Art 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (Each output is different from the other.)
- Painting
- Watercolor
- Portrait
- Photo Volumetric
- Retro
- Painting
- Sci-fi
- Acrylic art
- Pencil Sketch
- 3D
- Custom
- More…
Using the free version, there may be a wait time anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes. However, I’ve generally had good luck (with shorter wait times.)
The whole process is free up to 5 generations per day (as long as you choose the options which require no credits) using different typed (or A.I. generated) instructions.
✅ Pro Tip: The Free Version is Not Private
The free version does not provide you with the option of making your creation private. Thus, if you are using the free version, it is best to safely assume that whatever you create may be viewed publicly. This is awesome if you have a piece of art that you’d love to share with other creators!
